Reclaiming an Adult Space: The Sunroom
My lovely client Courtney decided that she needed to reclaim this room for her and her husband’s use. Except for salvaging her perfectly nice IKEA sofa, we started completely from scratch. Here’s what brought this room to life:
- Layering rugs can make a room feel more “full”. My favorite combo? Sea grass and sheepskin
- My go-to coffee table is the Peekaboo from CB2. It’s design-forward and inexpensive
- A tufted oatmeal-colored armchair can be found at almost any retailer these days – but this one? A mere $300 at Home Goods!
- I’m a big believer in Chinese Garden Stools – they add so much interest for so little $$. This one is about $100 on Amazon.com.
