One Kings Lane: The NYC Store
Yes, it’s true – One Kings Lane has a brick and mortar! I stopped by the other day, and in a random downtown office building in Manhattan, I discovered this…
The “Studio” is a large, lofty feeling space filled with GORGEOUS furniture. And also a bunch of cute, young designers that are ready to help anyone (anyone!) decorate their spaces (using One King Lane products, of course).
Here’s the lead designer, Alex Reid (with his steadfast companion). This guy is super talented.
Alex and the founder of One Kings Lane, Susan Feldman, wanted to give customers a real “see and touch” experience by creating a showroom filled with One Kings Lane’s products, AND they wanted to provide customers with design help to pull it all together.
Some of my favorite picks:
This chair is unique and pretty; a great additional seating for a living room. It’s actually Alex’s favorite piece!
Love these ginger jars:
Art! Pillows! Canopy Bed! Love this vignette:
Fabulous chair! And look at those pretty agate lamps:
Imagine getting your bookshelves fully styled in a one-stop-shop:
I died (died!) over this mad hatter chair:
Here’s a shot of the designers’ area. See the inspiration board behind them? They point customers there to help them focus on choosing their preferred style and colors.
I found the team to be warm and welcoming, and they’ll meet with anyone who schedules an appointment (for free!). You can book an appointment with The Studio here.

August 13, 2015 at 7:18 PMOh no! I am in big trouble if all of this is true! I WANT TO GO! The whole thing sounds so amazing with the designers there to help, the Inspiration board AND you can touch and feel their products before purchasing?! Take my AMEX away from me now!
