The Search is Over! Our Perfect Kitchen Lantern

You might recall a few months ago I posted about my search for the perfect kitchen lantern.  After much hand wringing, I decided to go with an oversized chrome pendant light fixture from Circa Lighting.  I’m so glad I did!

Ta-da!  Here’s the result:

 

 

We started with this fixture:

And ended up with this:

I think this is a better fit with our new white cabinets and wood floors – sleeker and cleaner.

 

Now all I need are two kumquat trees flanking my big windows, for a punch of color and a touch of interest.

Sometimes it’s a small thing – a new light, a new rug, window treatments – that can really transform a space

and make it sparkle!
