Hey, I’m on YouTube with Wayfair!

I’ve sort of been keeping it under wraps, but now I can shout it from the rooftops!  I’ve partnered with Wayfair to launch a YouTube series called “Inspiration Insiders”.

This is one of my faves – “5 Easy Ways to Update Your Sitting Room!”

For you loyal readers who have been with me since the beginning, you may recognize some of my tips that you see in this video (layering over a sea grass rug, anyone?).

I’ll be sharing my design tips and tricks over the next few months as part of Wayfair’s series.  Even more fun, I’m also doing a few projects that are “outside the box” for me – they are more entertaining ideas than decorating ideas.

I have to say, making a YouTube video is pretty manageable.  And it’s fun!  Making a YouTube video EVERY WEEK?  It’s so freaking hard – I had no idea.  I won’t go into the morbid details, but just when I think I’ve set up a perfect shot (it’s all recorded on my iPhone by the way!), a huge trucks rolls by or the sunlight changes, or the kids burst in the door.  I have a newfound respect for all those YouTubers who post videos several times a week.  It’s a lot more work than I realized!  But I will say, it’s great practice, and collaborating with Wayfair has been super creative and they are wonderful to work with.
